Mabuhay! Salamat po sa pagbisita nyo sa aming website, ang Lighthouse Baptist Church Singapore po ay mayroong Filipino Ministry, at maari po kayong dumalo at makasama namin kayo sa pananambahan sa ating Diyos na Buhay.

You are invited to our Filipino Service on Sunday, 2 pm Sunday School with different classes, ladies, men, youth and children.  Worship service starts at 3 pm in Tagalog, followed by fellowship.

My Salvation and God’s calling to the Ministry

I was 18 years old when I got saved. My classmate invited me to a Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church GMA Cavite Philippines, and when I heard the Gospel of Christ, I received Him as my personal saviour. I was baptized a few months later and that was on January 5, 1997. My life verse is Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thine hand.

My wife Celeste was raised in the same Baptist Church where I was invited to. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal saviour at the age of 12 and she became faithful in serving God by joining the young people’s and choir ministries.  Pro 19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. 

Our children Clarence Euell and Klint Juell had been saved here in Singapore through hearing the Gospel in Lighthouse Baptist Church. Both of them also followed the Lord in water baptism.

During the early years of my Christian life, I have been active in serving our Master by joining the GBC Choir in Cavite, and I also became the vice-president of the young people’s ministry. 

After I started working in Singapore, we transferred our membership to Lighthouse Baptist Church. My first ministry in the LBC Filipino ministry was song leading. A year later I became the Choir Director in the Filipino Ministry. I have also been leading the Filipino Ministry in Bible Study in different places here in Singapore. My family and I have also been active in our soul winning ministry. I attended courses at the Bible Institute in LBC.

God called me to the ministry on the day when I accepted Him as my personal Savior. I ignored it because I thought that it was not the will of God but my will only. Little by little He showed me His way and His leadership in my life in the ministry. Last year on 21st March 2010 a missionary preached and challenged the church in labouring in the ministry of God. I couldn’t help myself but to come forward and I decided to submit my life in serving our Master. Thank God for my family’s willingness to follow and obey our Master. They have not been a hindrance for me to serve Him at all. Praise God!

Our Family verse is Joshua 24:15 

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
