O. THE GIFT OF TONGUES
We believe that the divine gift of tongues which was used primarily as a sign to the unbelieving Jews and secondarily for edification in the church in the absence of the complete Scriptures, was terminated and never to reappear when its uses were over as can be seen in the scattering of the nation of Israel in AD 70 and in the completion of the Canon.
